Celebrating World Hijab Day the Brooklyn Way




Muslims Giving Back organized the 1st Hijab is my Crown Sisters Conference at Widdi Hall in Brooklyn last February 2, 2013. More than 600 Muslim and Non-Muslim sisters attended the event. It was an overwhelming experience to see the sisters come together and discuss relevant issues in the society. There were talks on

3. Embracing Hijab in Fitness by Zainab Ismail


 4. Nahela Morales - National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator for Why Islam
 5. CLEAR Team on Know-Your-Rights presentations ( Creating Law Enforcement Accountability and Responsibility ) project of CUNY School of Law
